In the fullness of time, God’s promise was given, but was unable to do anything for years. While the promised Messiah was present, those witnessing him still had to wait and expect the fullness to be manifest. We are facing a new year, full of potential, yet we walk into it with nothing more than we had the day before… Where do we place our faith? Please join us this Sunday as we listen to Ken Hopkins preach on “Potential Power.”
No Children’s Ministry
December 30th and January 6th
Due to lack of volunteers
On Sunday, December 30th and January 6th, children will join their parents in the main service. There are not enough teacher volunteers to have children’s classes on these dates. Children’s Sunday School will resume on Sunday, January 13th.
On January 6th, 5th-8th grade will have Service Sunday – Middle school students will volunteer in an area they choose or remain with their parents in the main service.
This Sunday, December 30th, is the last Sunday to give your gifts and tithes that will count towards the 2012 year. All checks and cash taken up on January 6th, regardless of the date written on the check, will count towards the 2013 year. You can mail your checks and they will count as long as the envelope is postdated by December 31st. Please email Kim Schulz if you have any questions.
Starting January 15th
Every other Tuesday, at the Wesslings
Are you interested in discovering how C.S. Lewis reveals God and our relationship with God through reading and discussing The Chronicles of Narnia? Join us on Tuesday nights from 6:30-8:00 every other week, starting on January 15th for food, fellowship and prayer. We will be reading portions of a book previous to each meeting so please call ahead to let us know you are attending and to find out what we are reading. Children are welcome. Contact the Pam (pam.wessling@gmail.com) or Chris (2cool4words@gmail.com).
